Wonderland… an imaginary place of delicate beauty that anyone deserves to see just like the island of Batanes.

Batanes has breathtaking sceneries, abundant diversity and rich cultural heritage. In addition, it is located at the northernmost part of the Philippines.

According to history, Batanes was made through the continuous movement of the ground millions of years ago. Also, it is known to be a typhoon prone area that is why their houses were made out of stones in order to have a strong foundation.

The magic of this quiet wonderland was a masterpiece painted by Mother Nature herself.

Together with my family, we visited this majestic place last August 2018, I felt so blessed because only few people are privileged to visit it. However, I had mixed emotions because it is my first time to ride an airplane and Batanes is one of the places that I want to go with my family.

When we arrived, Ivatans welcomed us with their whole heart. I described them as true stewards of God in which they continue to take good care of His creation.
